Landmines and explosives remnant of war (ERW) still killing or injuring people everyday, even after wars are finished. SADA proposes that a combination of integrated applications based on remote sensing, navigation and communications by satellite would be a step forward for the demining process, for both landmines and ERW.

The satellite solution proposed by INSA will improve the land mine cleaning process, thus helping to save lives and improving the social-economical impact in the affected areas. But demining is much more than this, it is also reconnaissance, investigation, sources determination, tools selection... and this study will cover the whole concept.
