INSA takes part in the 7th annual Science Week

On 14th November the first INSA Scientific-Technical Conference was held, during the 7th Community of Madrid Science Week, at the Deep Space Communications Centre (MDSCC) in Robledo de Chavela, Madrid.
The main purpose was to enable all the conference participants to find out about the work undertaken in each of the INSA centres. Participants were able, amongst other things, to attend presentations on UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles), aircraft in-flight tests, aerostatic observation platforms and other remote detection systems, new array and optical communication technologies for space links, along with the scientific work conducted by INSA personnel in the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), as part of the XMM-Newton and Herschel missions.
