INSA in co-operation with the INAER Group supplies the General Management for the Prevention and Extinction of Fire and Emergencies of the Generalitat Valenciana with satellite communication systems on the X-band.

The initial supply consists of a central anchor station with a diameter of 3.7 metres and a mobile terminal, which is installed in a vehicle for the coordination of emergencies. The units of the Generalitat can connect to the safe communication network of the Military Unit for Emergencies via the satellite SpainSat, which facilitates the information exchange and the coordination among the bodies by means of a permanent communication link for voice and data.
