QUALITY

INSA holds the ISO 9001 certification from AENOR (AENOR ER-0861/1999) and the International from IQNet for its centre in Madrid (Headquarters and Engineering). The current contracts with Villafranca del Castillo and Maspalomas require, in turns, Quality Assurance Plans fulfilling ISO 9001 requirements.

In 2005-07-15 INSA requested to the Spanish Ministry of Defence and to AENOR the certification in the PECAL 2110 and ISO 14001-Environmental Management standards respectively. INSA expects to obtain both certifications during the second half of 2006. The corresponding Quality documentation has already been generated, and the activities and projects of INSA are already being performed compliant to the requirements contained in these two standards.

INSA has appointed a Technical and Quality Manager, who has the necessary authority and freedom to manage and solve the issues related to the company’s Quality Management System.

Quality Policy

The main principles and objectives of INSA’s Quality Policy are the following:

• Satisfy the needs of our customers (Aeronautical and Space Agencies, companies developing aerospace systems and equipments, etc…) fulfilling:
  • Contractual clauses and requirements.
  • Delivery time.
  • Assigning specialized resources for the search of new applications and technical advances in the aerospace sector.
  • Building and assigning the best work-team, with highly-qualified professionals, according to client and project needs.
  • Fulfilling all the legal requirements and applicable regulation affecting both general purpose and specific aspects from aeronautical authorities.
  • Defining and fulfilling INSA’s Quality System based on ISO 9001 standard.
• Improve continuously through the analysis of our results and the corresponding decision-making processes.
• Apply, when required by the nature of the contract (i.e. Ministry of Defence /OTAN), the quality requirements specific to the PECAL 2110 standard within the framework of INSA’s Quality Management System.

The application of this policy requires the active cooperation of the whole INSA team, professionals which take part in this policy having as daily interest the continuous improvement.
